Fiberglassing the Shower

Here Jody is installing the fiberglass to the shower pan and deciding how to install the plumbing.  The steel pan he welded was covered with 1/2″ blueboard insulation foam, then with 1/4″ plywood for strength.  The fiberglass was installed (which is very stinky by the way) in 2 layers over the plywood.  Then he installed the shower board panels and caulked a bunch.  The fiberglass pan was then sanded and coated with spray in truck bed liner.  The tub spout was installed at an angle to give more room for standing in the shower.  The last picture shows the completed shower and faucet and the custom PVC curtain rod.
