Everyone has been asking how we get the pop up popped. Well, here is a little slideshow that shows how it’s done. I did it by myself since Chas is busy taking these pictures. It took less than half an hour, but that included removing the bikes from the roof and Chas stopping to assist the girls with Gravy.
I think this is a brilliant idea! Not sure if we’d be allowed to do that in Australia! Lots of regulations here and different in every state!
Hello Scholl family,
I am so glad to see your bus finished and on your way! met you two a couple whiles ago at the bottom of a hill in Roan mtn while are kids played in a very muddy wet area! I also ran into you last spring again when your bus was just getting started. I’m very excited for you. Here’s a few questions for u? 1) are you strictly living on bus now or do you still have a ‘home’ base. 2) ever want to visit michigan? I would love for you to come an visit. Michigan may have some things you can finish on dream lists! 3) would love to see the inside have any pics of?
I had this same idea today and was wondering if rv parks would allow it. Great job. Looks fun!
There are a lot of considerations when thinking this far outside “the bus” but we are having fun with it. I am sure we will run into some places that won’t allow us in, but I look at that as their loss… Thanks for checking out the blog.
How do you get in the popup? From inside or outside the bus?
We climb up a ladder inside the bus through the floor of the pop up. We are going to do an interior video walk through when we get it a little more organized.
