These pictures were taken on a hike to a waterfall near Unicoi, TN. I know it has been over 2 months since we went on this hike, what can I say. We have been having so much fun we forgot about it… These were taken around the beginning of July.
We took a wrong turn and hiked probably over a mile up stream from the fall, but we had a lot of fun in the process. We ended up finding the waterfall too late to hike to the bottom, it is over a 100 foot drop, so I don’t have any amazing photos. The waterfall picture that is included is a fall that is 100 yards upstream from the main fall. The girls had fun playing in the water for sure.
The girls loved being able to fill our Sport Berkey and drink water from the stream (honestly I would not have a hard time drinking water unfiltered from here). They all took turns filling it up, it is handy to take one bottle for the whole family and refill as needed.
